Vaishali veg & non veg restaurant

We are located in Model Town, up here in Manali. It gets quite cold in the winters, so the kitchen is always the warmest place to be. Vaishali veg & non veg restaurant serves both kinds of food because that is what people ask for when they come up to the mountains. We get a lot of tourists who are lost or looking for a place to eat after a long drive, and we also have the locals who live around Model Town. The air is thin and crisp up here, and we keep the windows shut tight when the wind picks up. Our menu is not very long, but it has the things people like to eat when it is chilly outside. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and getting the meat ready for the evening rush. Sometimes the power goes out in the winter, and we have to use candles, which actually looks kind of nice even if it is a bit of a hassle for the cooking. The street outside is usually quiet at night, except for the stray dogs. We have a few wooden tables and some benches. It is nothing like those fancy places in the big cities, but it works for us. We just try to make sure the food is hot and there is enough for everyone who walks in.
