Lucknow Biryani & Kabab Corner

Lucknow Biryani & Kabab Corner is way up here in Manali on Hadimba Road. It gets cold here in the mountains, so having a place with hot food is important. We are situated near the Punjab National Bank in the Kullu district. It is a small corner shop, mostly frequented by tourists who are visiting the temple or locals who live nearby. The kitchen is always steaming, which helps keep the place warm when the snow starts falling. We don't have a big fancy sign, just enough so you know where we are. Manali is a beautiful place, but running a food business here has its challenges, like getting supplies when the roads are blocked. We do our best to stay open and keep the pots moving. It’s a very casual spot. You might find a stray dog waiting outside for a scrap or two. We don't mind. We aren't trying to be a big restaurant chain. We just like making biryani and kababs for whoever walks through the door. The furniture is made of wood, mostly because that’s what we have plenty of around here. If you are looking for us, just head toward the 175131 area and look for the bank. We’ll be right there with the smell of charcoal in the air. We keep the fires going all day so the food is always fresh and hot.
