Malana Restaurant

Our restaurant is inside the Hotel Malabar building in Bhuntar. We are very close to the Kullu Manali Airport, so we get people who are coming off a flight or waiting to catch one. It is a small place, nothing too grand. We have a few tables and a kitchen that stays busy from morning until late. We do not have a huge staff. Usually, it is just a couple of us cooking and bringing the plates out. The menu is simple and filled with things we know how to make. We do not try to do fancy fusion food. It is just honest cooking for hungry travelers. The view of the hills around Kullu is nice when the weather is clear. We see people from all over who are heading up into the mountains. We do not have decorations on the walls. We just focus on keeping the kitchen clean and the food hot. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a big group comes in at once. We aren't trying to win any awards. We just want to make sure people leave with a full stomach. It is a bit of a trek for some, but being near the airport makes it a convenient stop. We just keep the doors open and the stove hot for whoever stops by. It is a simple life here in Bhuntar. We just serve what we have and try to be helpful. I guess that is all there is to it.
