GOZY RESTAURANT

GOZY RESTAURANT is right on the Mall Road in Manali. If you walk along the main strip, you will eventually see our sign near the other shops. Being in Manali means we deal with a lot of tourists from everywhere. In the winters, it gets really cold, so we have to keep the place as warm as possible for the people coming in from the snow. The floors get messy with all the boots and mud, so someone is always walking around with a mop. We have big windows where you can sit and watch the people walking by on the street outside. It is a good spot for people-watching. We get a lot of families who are on vacation and looking for something to eat after visiting the temples. The kitchen stays busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes the supply trucks take a while to get up the hills because of the traffic or the weather, so we have to adjust our day based on what arrives. We are not a high-end place with white tablecloths. It is more of a casual vibe where you can relax for a bit. The staff here are locals who know the mountains well. We talk to the guests about where to go next or which roads are blocked. It is a busy, sometimes chaotic life on the Mall Road, but we have gotten used to the pace over the years.
