Summer Hill Restaurant

Summer Hill Restaurant is located right above the old bridge in the main market area of Kasol. If you are walking around the market, you will see us up there. It is a nice spot in Kullu, 175105. We have been here for a bit, watching the town change as more people come to visit. Being near the bridge means we see everyone coming and going. The place is part of the Summer Hill building. It gets a bit cold here in the winters but we stay open. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who live nearby and know the area well. It’s a simple place to sit down for a bit. The market can get pretty loud and busy, especially during the peak season, but up here it feels a little different. We spend a lot of our time making sure the tables are ready and the kitchen is stocked. We get our supplies from the local vendors whenever we can. It’s not a corporate chain, just a local restaurant run by people who live in Kasol. We don't really do much advertising. Most folks just walk in because they are hungry after a long walk or a trek. We like the view from here. It stays pretty honest. No flashy lights or anything, just a regular place to eat. We just keep the fire going and wait for the next person to come up the stairs.
