Shardha Satyam Restaurant

Shardha Satyam Restaurant is our small family business located on Mall Road in Manali. We are right by Nehru Park, which is a nice quiet spot compared to the rest of the busy street. Manali gets very crowded with tourists during the summer and winter, so we are usually quite busy during those months. The restaurant itself is built mostly with wood, which helps keep it a bit warmer when the snow starts falling outside. We have some old tables and mismatched chairs that we’ve collected over the years. My wife does most of the cooking in the back while I take orders and serve the guests. We don’t have a very long menu, just some basic dishes that people like to eat when it's cold. A lot of folks stop by after walking through the park. It’s a simple place with a view of the trees through our front window. Sometimes the heavy rains in the monsoon make the roof leak a tiny bit in the corner, but we’ve put a bucket there and it’s fine. We aren't looking to become a big famous place. We just like living in the mountains and running our little kitchen here. The address is easy to find because everyone knows Nehru Park on Mall Road. It’s a hard life sometimes with the weather, but we enjoy seeing new faces every day.
