Naveen Restaurant

I’ve been working at Naveen Restaurant for a while now. We are right inside Hotel Naveen in Manali, just across from the Deluxe Bus Stand. Most days are busy because of the buses coming and going. People hop off looking for something warm to eat before they head to their hotels or start their sightseeing. It’s a simple setup. We don't have fancy lights or anything like that. Just tables and chairs and food that reminds you of home. Sometimes the crowd gets a bit much when a big bus arrives, so things can get a little loud. My uncle started this place years ago. He always said to keep the food honest. We mostly serve locals and tourists who just want a quick bite. The weather in Kullu district gets quite chilly, especially in the winter, so our kitchen is always humming with tea and hot meals. It’s not a five-star place, but we try to keep it clean. You can see the bus stand from the front window. It’s easy to find us if you’re lost. We just do our thing every day, cooking what we know. There’s no big secret to it. Just some regular folks making food for other regular folks passing through Manali. We stay open late enough for the night travelers too. It’s a long day, but seeing people finish their plates makes it okay. We’re just here on the main road doing our job and hoping people enjoy their meal.
