Thejus Residential School (E.M)

Thejus Residential School (E.M) is part of the SLV Group of Schools and is located in Kinassery, specifically in the Mankave area of Kozhikode. Since it's a residential school, there is always someone around, even after the usual school hours are over. The building is solid and has plenty of space for both the classrooms and the living quarters. We spend a lot of time making sure the students who stay here are comfortable and have what they need for their daily lives. It’s a big responsibility, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. The staff here are like a small family because we see each other all the time. Mankave is a good area to be in, and it’s not too far from the main parts of Calicut. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves; we are just a school that offers a place to stay. The days are long, starting with breakfast and ending with evening study sessions. We keep the grounds as clean as we can, though with so many kids around, there is always something to pick up. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. People in the neighborhood know us as the local residential school. We just keep our heads down and focus on the daily tasks of running a school and a hostel at the same time. It’s hard work, but we stay at it.
