Ansar English Medium School

Ansar English Medium School is located over in Karuvanpoyil, which is part of the Koduvalli area in Kozhikode. It’s a busy little school where you can hear the kids playing and shouting from down the road. We’ve got the 673572 pincode if you’re sending mail. The school isn't some massive glass building; it's just a regular place where local children come to learn their ABCs and math in English. Every morning, the buses and auto-rickshaws drop them off at the gate and things stay loud until the afternoon bell rings. We have teachers who have been here for years, some even taught the parents of the kids who are coming here now. Kozhikode is a nice place to live, and being in the Karuvanpoyil neighborhood means we see the same faces every day at the tea shops and the markets. We try to keep the classrooms tidy, though with so many kids running around, there’s always a bit of dust or a stray pencil on the floor. It’s a humble setup really. We don’t have a huge playground, but there’s enough room for the little ones to run during their break. We just get on with the teaching and try to make sure the kids understand their lessons. It’s a straightforward school for the community here, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
