Yamai Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is based at P-17A on Ashutosh Chowdhury Avenue. It’s a decent-sized space in a building that has seen better years, but it works perfectly for what we need. We handle garment production and fashion work here. It’s definitely not a fancy boutique with mood lighting and music. It’s more of a workshop with rows of machines, cutting tables, and lots of thread on the floor. We have a small team of tailors and cutters who have been with us for a long time. The avenue outside is always busy with traffic heading toward the main part of town, but inside we just focus on the garments. We don't have any big marketing slogans or a fancy mission. We just take the orders, cut the fabric, and sew the pieces together. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to be shipped out by morning. We’ve been in this building for several years now. It’s got some leaks when it rains heavily, and the elevator is a bit temperamental, but we are used to it. We don't really do any promotion or go to big trade shows. Most of our work comes from people who have heard about us through others in the trade. It’s a straightforward way to run a business, and it keeps us busy enough without any extra stress. We just keep our heads down and get the stitching finished on time.
