Nik Nish Retail Limited

Nik Nish Retail Limited is tucked away in the L/D-2 section of the Govt Housing Estate in East Barisha. Thakurpukur is a bit of a trek from the city center, but we like the quiet of being in a residential area. We’ve been running this retail business for a while now, and it keeps us on our toes. The space we have isn't massive, but we make the most of every corner we’ve got. People sometimes get lost trying to find us inside the housing estate because all the buildings look a bit similar. We just tell them to look for the stacks of crates near the entrance. Kolkata weather is always a factor, and when it pours, we have to move things quickly so nothing gets damp. We are just a small group of people who show up every morning and get to work. There are no fancy uniforms or corporate meetings here. We mostly spend our time checking inventory and making sure the local shops get what they need. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, and other days are a complete mess of deliveries and phone calls. We don't have a team of people to write catchy slogans for us. We just focus on getting the tasks done and making sure we don't mix up the orders. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it works for us in this part of West Bengal.
