Unique The Designer Point

You can find us at No. 185 Maniktala Main Road. We called the place Unique The Designer Point, though most people just know us as the shop on the main road. It’s a busy street with lots of traffic and people walking by all day long. Inside, it’s usually a bit of a mess with fabric scraps, measuring tapes, and sketches lying around on the tables. We don't have one of those perfectly clean boutiques where you’re afraid to touch anything. It’s a working shop. We spend our time cutting, sewing, and trying to get the fit right for whoever walks in. Sometimes the sewing machines get jammed or we run out of a specific thread, and we have to scramble to fix it. It’s just the few of us here working away. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles. We just do the designing and the making ourselves. The lighting isn't always the best, and it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we’re used to it. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just put our work out there and if people like it, they come back or tell their friends. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it keeps us busy enough without needing to be too polished or perfect about everything we do. It’s just about getting the clothes right for the people who ask.
