Hoffmen

You can find us over in Salt Lake, specifically at Anushakti Abasan in the Swati-1A building. Salt Lake is a bit quieter than the rest of Kolkata, which is nice when you’re trying to get through a pile of work. We handle the clothes and fashion side of things here at Hoffmen. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with enough room for our desks and some samples hanging up. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and checking how things are being made. It gets pretty busy when new seasons are coming up and we have to make sure everything is ready on time. The staff here has been around for a while, so we all know how the day usually goes. We grab tea from the same guy every morning and talk about what needs to be done. It’s a lot of phone calls to suppliers and making sure the deliveries are sent out. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird noise, but we just ignore it. We don't try to sound like a big fancy brand when we’re just here working in 1/Af. It’s just about putting in the hours and making sure the clothes look right before they go out. Salt Lake is a good place to be, and we’re happy with our little corner of it here in the Abasan.
