If you look for us at 62 Sarat Chatterjee Road, you’ll find us on the first floor. It’s a busy part of Lake Town, so parking is usually a bit of a headache if you come at the wrong time. We’ve been operating out of this floor for some time now. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying heavy files up can be a bit of a chore. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and a lot of paper. We don't spend much on decorations because it’s a workspace, not a showroom. The windows look out onto the street, so we hear the traffic and the local vendors all day long. It helps us stay connected to what’s happening outside. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know the local tea stalls and where to get a quick lunch. The office has that old-school feel where everyone knows each other’s business. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days, but they still get the job done. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just take a break until it comes back. It isn’t a corporate high-rise with glass walls, just a regular office where we handle our daily tasks. We keep things simple and don't try to be something we aren't. Mostly, we just focus on clearing the desk by evening so we can head home.
