Mrs Jyotsna Poddar

I have been working out of this spot at 252/C C.R. Avenue for quite a long time now. Kolkata is a busy place, and Central Avenue is right in the thick of it all. Most days, I just sit here and deal with whatever comes across my desk. It is not a very big office, but it serves its purpose for what I do. People often walk past the building without noticing it much because there is so much noise and traffic outside. The address is 700006, which is a very old part of the city if you know the area well. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit of a mess, but that is just part of living here. I started this because I needed something to do that felt useful. My family has been in this city for generations, so setting up here felt like the right thing to do. It isn’t anything fancy or polished like those new glass buildings you see in Salt Lake. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the window, and I spend half my time just tidying up papers. I try to keep things simple and just get the work done without making a big fuss about it. If you ever find yourself walking down C.R. Avenue near this number, you might see the sign. It is just a regular place where a regular person works every day.
