Vishal Mega Mart Baguihati

We are located at PGE Plaza right on VIP Road in the Baguihati area. If you’re heading towards Deshbandhunagar, you’ve probably seen the sign. This mart is a pretty big operation, and it stays busy from the moment we open the doors. We have floors full of clothes, household stuff, and groceries. Managing a place this size takes a lot of walking back and forth. You’ll often find us restocking the racks or helping someone find a specific size of shirt. The weekends are especially hectic when families come in for their weekly shopping. It gets quite loud with all the trolleys moving around and kids running between the aisles. We try to keep the queues moving at the billing counters, but sometimes the lines get long despite our efforts. The staff here are mostly local people who know the neighborhood well. We spend a lot of time folding clothes that people have tried on or putting back items that were left in the wrong section. It’s hard work and it can be tiring for the legs, but it’s a living. We don’t try to be anything other than a place where people can find what they need for a decent price. VIP Road always has traffic, so there’s a constant sound of horns outside, but inside we’re just focused on keeping the shelves full and the floors swept as best as we can every day.
