Vinayak Impex International

We operate out of 16 Tarachand Dutta Street. Vinayak Impex International is the name on the door, though it’s just a normal office inside. The street is narrow and always full of handcarts and vans. We do a lot of work with shipping and moving goods around. It involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing all morning. We deal with various items depending on what is moving in the market. It’s not a very glamorous job. Most of the time we are just checking lists and making sure the crates are where they should be. We’ve been on this street for years and the buildings are all quite old. The walls in the office could use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to get the imports and exports handled without too much trouble. Logistics can be a real pain when there’s a delay at the port. We just take it as it comes. It's a lot of coordination with different people. Sometimes we stay late to finish up the logs. That’s just the way the business goes at Tarachand Dutta Street. We keep a small staff and everyone knows their job well. It’s busy but we like it that way.
