Versetles

Versetles is located at 87 Block A on Jessore Road. You can find us right in the SBI Building which makes it easy for people to give directions. Most folks just say it’s where the bank is. We are in the 700055 area of Kolkata and it is a very busy spot. The traffic on Jessore Road is legendary and we hear the horns honking all day long. Being in the bank building is good because it’s a landmark everyone knows. Inside our space is divided into a few sections. We have some desks and computers and a lot of shelving for files and books. It’s a functional space rather than a pretty one. We’ve got some posters on the walls that have been there for years. The staff here is small and we all do a bit of everything. There isn't a strict hierarchy or anything like that. We just show up and get to work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up so we end up taking the stairs which is good exercise I suppose. We serve a lot of people from around this part of Kolkata. It’s a mix of students and older people. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Being on Jessore Road provides enough visibility on its own. It’s a plain, hardworking environment and we like it that way. There is always a lot of activity and papers to shuffle through.
