Vardy Apparels Private Limited is located right on Bentinck Street. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the shops and people walking by every minute. We are on the second floor of number 3. It is an old building like many others in this part of Kolkata. The stairs are a bit steep but once you get up here, it is a whole different world from the noise on the street. We spend our days dealing with different types of clothing and garments. It’s mostly just a few of us making sure everything is moving on time. The space is a bit cramped because of all the stock we keep, but we make it work. Bentinck Street has a lot of history and we are glad to be a small part of it. We don't have a big reception area or anything. People just walk in, talk about what they need, and we see what we can do. It can get hot in the afternoons but the ceiling fans keep us going. We’ve seen many businesses come and go around here while we just keep doing our bit. It’s a practical setup for us because we are close to the main markets. Nothing fancy about it, just a straightforward place where we handle our apparel business. We take our time with the work and try to keep things honest with everyone who walks through the door.
