We are based in Vardaan Market at No. 25a on Camac Street. If you know the area, you know it’s one of those busy commercial spots where there is always something happening. Our office is tucked away, and it’s where we manage all the garment exports. We don't actually sew the clothes here; this is more for the management, the sampling, and talking to the clients. It’s a bit tight for space, especially when we have new collections coming in and the racks are full of hangers. We’ve got desks piled high with shipping documents and fabric swatches. Camac Street is a good location because it's central, but the market itself can be a bit of a squeeze. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of our day is spent on the phone or sending emails to make sure the production at the factories is staying on track. Sometimes it gets stressful when a deadline is close, but we’ve got a routine that works. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who know the garment business well. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay organized amidst all the samples and paperwork. It’s a practical office for a practical business. We often stay late during the shipping season, but that's just how the export world works. We like being in Vardaan Market because everything we need is close by.
