V V Silks

We are located at 1 Ganesh Chandra Avenue. If you are looking for V V Silks, you have to come up to the 3rd Floor. The building is right in the heart of a very busy commercial area. There is always a lot of movement on the street below. Climbing up to the third floor is a bit of a workout every morning, but it gives us a good view of the street from the windows. The space is filled with stacks of items and various rolls of materials. We have some long tables where we can spread things out to look at them. The lighting is okay, but we often use some extra lamps when it gets cloudy outside. Ganesh Chandra Avenue is a place where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. We have been here for a while and have seen many shops come and go. Our own space stays pretty much the same. We have a small corner where we keep our lunch boxes and a bottle of water. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. It is a functional workspace where we focus on our daily tasks. Sometimes the street noise is so loud we have to shout a little to hear each other, but that is just part of being in this neighborhood. We stay until the evening when the streetlights come on and then we head home.
