Priya Basanalaya

We have been at 401 D.H. Road in Behala for quite some time now. Most people around here know exactly where the shop is located. It stays pretty busy because this road is always packed with traffic and people walking by. We mostly handle things people need for their kitchens and homes. It is a lot of metal pots, pans, and everyday plates. Sometimes the floor gets a bit crowded when new stock arrives, but we always manage to find space. My uncle started this place, and now we just keep it going day by day. We do not really do fancy ads or anything like that. People just walk in because they need a new bucket or maybe a pressure cooker repaired. The fan in the back makes a lot of noise in the summer, but it keeps us cool enough. We open early in the morning and stay until the shutters go down at night. If you are walking toward the market, you will probably see us. We have heaps of stainless steel stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes the rain gets under the door when it pours really hard in Behala, so we have to move the boxes quickly. It is just a regular shop where we know a lot of the faces coming through the door. Nothing too special, just the usual work we do every day. It gets tiring but it is our life.
