We have been here at 42A Shakespeare Sarani for quite a while now. Most people know the spot because we are right near Kalamandir. It is a very busy area in Circus Avenue, and we try to keep things simple in the shop. If you have walked past our door, you have probably seen us busy with customers or moving stock around. We handle different things throughout the day. Some days are completely packed with people, and other days it stays a bit slower. That is just how it goes in this part of town. People come in looking for specific items, and we do what we can to help them find what they need without making a big deal out of it. It is a family-run kind of setup. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. It is just us behind the counter. The shelves are usually full, though they might get a bit messy if it has been a long afternoon. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New shops come and go, but we are still here in the same building. We open up in the morning and stay until things wind down in the evening. There is always someone around to answer a question or look for a part. It is a straightforward way to earn a living. We do not spend time on computers or writing fancy things about ourselves. Usually, we are just talking to neighbors or checking the stock. It is basic, but it works for us.
