Arohi

Arohi is located at 1 Shakespeare Sarani, right on the corner of Midleton Row. This is a pretty well-known spot in Kolkata, so it’s easy to find if you are in the area. The building is one of those classic ones with high ceilings and a lot of character. We’ve been here for a bit and we really enjoy the vibe of the neighborhood. It’s a mix of old and new, and there is always something interesting happening on the street outside. Inside our space, things are pretty simple. We don't have any flashy decorations or expensive displays. We just have our items laid out so people can see them. Most of our days are spent talking to people who walk in or handling phone calls. We are a small team and we don't really have a hierarchy. Everyone just chips in and helps out with whatever needs to be done. The afternoon light comes in through the big windows and makes the place feel quite warm. We usually have a bit of a slow period after lunch when we catch up on paperwork or just sit and have some tea. It is a relaxed place to work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the best, just a regular shop where people feel comfortable coming in. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do; we just show up and run the business every day.
