Down at Plot No-161 on Muktaram Babu Street, you'll find Tulsi Apparel. It's a narrow building filled with rolls of fabric and finished clothes. We make various types of garments, mostly for everyday wear. The street outside is always packed with people and carts, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a headache. We have several sewing machines going at once, which makes a steady humming sound all day long. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps over the cutting tables. We aren't a big fashion house. We just make clothes that people can afford and wear to work or around the house. Sometimes we have scraps of cloth all over the floor by the end of the shift. We employ people from the surrounding area who know how to stitch well. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the boxes stacked up, but we make it work. I spend a lot of time checking the seams and making sure the buttons are on tight. We don't have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to buy something, they just come to the front counter and we show them what we have ready. It's a simple operation on a busy street. We've been here for years and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy keeping up with the orders. People know they can find us here if they need something made quickly.
