We are T.Dolly Dresses Private Limited and you can find us over at V-156 on Mondal Para Lane. It’s right here in Kolkata, in a spot that’s always buzzing with people and traffic. Our place is basically a workshop where we spend our days putting together dresses and other items. It’s not a showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a place where actual work happens. There are threads on the floor and the sound of machines running most of the time. We’ve been in this lane for a while and we know most of the neighbors. It’s a tight-knit area. We don't have a fancy website or a big office with air conditioning in every room. We just focus on the garments. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a big order to finish, and other times we might close early if things are quiet. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We pick out the materials ourselves and check every piece before it goes out the door. It’s not always easy, especially when the heat in Kolkata gets intense, but we’re used to it. We just enjoy the process of seeing a piece of cloth turn into something someone can wear. We’re just regular people doing a job we’ve grown to love over the years. No big corporate talk, just us and our dresses here in West Bengal.
