Modi Jalan Creations

If you go to No. 103 Park Street and head up to the 6th floor, that’s where Modi Jalan Creations is located. Being on the 6th floor means we get a bit of a view of the street below, though we’re usually too busy to look out the window. Park Street is always buzzing with energy, but it’s a bit quieter once you get up here. Our office is mostly just desks, samples, and a lot of paper. We aren’t big on fancy decorations or modern furniture. Most of our chairs have been here as long as we have. We spend our days going through designs and talking to people on the phone. It’s a small team, and we’ve all worked together for a long time, so we know how to stay out of each other's way. Sometimes the elevator takes forever, so we’ve learned to be patient. We have a lot of samples lying around on every available surface. It gets a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We don’t do big presentations. People just come in, we show them what we have, and we go from there. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. We like being on Park Street because everything we need is close by. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to do a decent job every day.
