Swasti Exports

You can find us over on Lenin Sarani, right at 183/2a. We are up on the second floor, so you have to walk up those old stairs to get to us. It’s right near the Tipu Sultan Masjid, which is the main landmark everyone uses when they are trying to find the building for the first time. The street downstairs is always loud with traffic and people shouting, but once you get up to the office, it’s a little bit quieter. We deal with the export paperwork and keeping track of all the shipments going out to different places. The ceiling fans here are pretty old and make a clicking sound, but they keep the air moving at least. Our desks are usually piled high with ledgers and folders full of samples. It’s a lot of back and forth on the phone all day long. Sometimes the light in the hallway is out, so you really have to watch your step on the landing. We’ve been in this same spot for a long time now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Most of the afternoon is spent checking manifests and making sure the labels are all correct. It’s just a busy, somewhat dusty office in a very crowded part of the city. We grab snacks from the vendors downstairs when we have a spare minute. It’s a simple setup.
