Suman Fashions

Suman Fashions is located at 20, Russa Road (East), specifically in the 1st Lane. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze down these lanes, but that is part of the charm of the area. We have been here for a long time, working with fabrics and various garments. Inside, you’ll find rolls of cloth leaning against the walls and threads of all different colors scattered around the sewing machines. It’s a lively place, usually filled with the sound of scissors cutting and the rhythmic clicking of the machines. We aren't a big corporate factory; it’s more of a local workshop where everyone knows how to do a bit of everything. The light coming through the windows in the morning is quite nice, though it gets a bit stuffy by mid-afternoon when the sun is high. We have a few regulars who drop by just to chat or see what we are working on. It’s a messy business, fashion is, with scraps of fabric everywhere, but we try to sweep up at the end of every day. Being on Russa Road means we are close to everything we need. We get our supplies from vendors we’ve known for decades. It feels more like a community than just a place of work. We just keep our heads down and focus on making things that people will actually want to wear, day after day, and hope the traffic isn't too bad.
