Sukanya

If you walk down 100/Dbecharam Chatterjee Road, you will find us pretty easily. It is a local place called Sukanya. We have been here for a good amount of time, seeing the neighborhood change around us. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We don't really do the whole big advertising thing. Most folks just hear about us from their neighbors or walk in because they were passing by to get groceries. The shop isn't huge, so things can get a bit cluttered when new stock arrives. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the boxes pile up in the corner. It's a family-run sort of vibe. We spend a lot of the day talking to regulars about their families or the weather while we handle the business stuff. It is not a high-pressure environment. We just sell what we have and help people find what they are looking for. Sometimes the electricity goes out on this street, and we just light a few candles and keep talking. It’s just part of being on this road. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in the city. We just want to be the one that people feel comfortable coming into. It’s simple work, and we like it that way. No big corporate meetings or fancy reports here, just us.
