You can find us over at Shyam Towers, specifically in EN-32 of Sector V, Salt Lake City. While most people think this area is only for those big software companies, we have been running Ssil Hosiery Industries Private Limited from here for quite some time. It’s a typical office environment in a tall building where the elevators take a bit too long and the air conditioning is sometimes a bit too cold. We handle the business side of hosiery, which means a lot of phone calls to factories and checking on inventory levels throughout the day. Our desks are usually covered in papers and sample fabrics because we need to see what we are dealing with. It’s not a fancy setup by any means. We have some chairs for visitors, but mostly it is just us working through the daily tasks. The view outside is mostly other glass buildings and the busy streets of Sector V. We get our tea from the small shop downstairs and eat our lunch in the small pantry area we have. It is just a regular job for everyone here. We aren't trying to change the world, just making sure the hosiery business stays on track and the orders get filled correctly. Some days are busier than others, especially when the new seasons start, but we just take it one day at a time without much fuss or bother. We finish up, pack our bags, and head out when the sun starts to set over the city.
