Ss Apparels is located at No. 12C Madan Chatterjee Lane, right on the ground floor. It’s in the Talab Bari area of Singhi Bagan. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don’t have to lug heavy things up any stairs. The building is one of those older ones that has seen a lot of history. You can feel the age of the place when you walk in. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the plumbing and the way the light hits the floor in the afternoon. Madan Chatterjee Lane is usually buzzing with activity. There are always people shouting or horns honking outside our door. We don't mind it much anymore. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the materials we have lying around. We try to keep things in some kind of order, but it’s hard when you’re busy every day. There are no fancy decorations or carpets here. It’s just a concrete floor and some sturdy tables. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to get the orders done and out the door. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses like ours, so we all understand the hustle. It gets hot in the summer, so we keep the fans running all day long. That’s just how it goes at 12C Madan Chatterjee Lane and we are fine with it.
