Sristi Fashions Pvt. Ltd. is based at 108-A on Elliot Road. It is a busy street with lots of shops and people walking by all day long. Our office is often filled with rolls of fabric and half-finished samples draped over chairs. It might look a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where everything is. There are a few sewing machines at the back that stay busy most of the afternoon. The noise from the street comes in through the open windows, along with the smell of food from the stalls nearby. We have a big cutting table in the middle of the main room where most of the planning happens. It’s a lot of work coordinating everything, and sometimes things get a little stressful when deadlines are close. We drink a lot of tea and coffee to stay moving. The walls are covered in sketches and little scraps of cloth pinned up for reference. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything; we just use the space we have to get the garments ready. Most of the staff have been with us for years, so we work well together even when the place is crowded. It is just a normal, hardworking garment office on a busy road. We just try to get the orders done right and keep things moving.
