Sreyasi

Sreyasi is located at 9, Janakalyan More, which is right in the Jatin Das Nagar area of Kolkata. Being near Shib Kali Mandir means we get a lot of people passing by on their way to the temple or the market. It’s a modest setup we have here. We’ve been part of this 700056 neighborhood for some time and see a lot of the same faces every week. Inside, it's pretty basic but we keep things organized. I usually handle most of the work myself but sometimes there’s another pair of hands to help out when things pick up in the afternoon. People stop in for their regular needs and we just chat about whatever is happening in the city. It’s not a big corporate chain or anything like that. Just a small local business trying to make a living. The fans stay on high because of the Kolkata heat and we try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. If you are looking for us, just head toward the Mandir and we are right there at the More. We don’t really do any fancy advertising or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s a straightforward place and we don't have anything extra or complicated here. We just open up the shutters every day and get to work. It’s a bit noisy with the street traffic outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of town.
