You can find our little spot right on Garia Station Road. We are located in the Monika Skaye building, which is very close to Balia More. It is a busy junction, so there is always a lot of noise and activity going on right outside our doors. We specialize in khadi, which is something we really care about keeping alive in our little corner of South Kolkata. Because it is a traditional fabric, it usually takes a bit more time and patience to handle correctly. Our workspace isn't very large, but we have learned how to make it work for us over the years. We spend a lot of our time talking to the customers who come in looking for something that feels authentic. It is not like going to one of those big, cold shopping malls in the city. We are just a local outfit doing what we know best. The staff here knows a great deal about how the fabric is actually made and why it feels the way it does. We do not use any sales scripts when we talk to our visitors. We just tell them exactly what we have sitting on the shelves that day. Sometimes we run out of a certain color and have to wait for the next batch from the weavers. We have been part of this Sonarpur neighborhood for quite some time now and like the locals.
