Skivvies Industries Private Limited

We are located over in the Bandhab Nagar Colony area, which is part of Dum Dum. It is a bit away from the main city rush of central Kolkata, but it is still plenty busy for us. We work on various garments and other industrial textile things. The building we are in isn't much to look at from the street, but we keep the inside tidy enough to get the work done. We have been established here for a good while now. Most of our staff comes from the local neighborhood right here in Dum Dum. We usually start our day quite early to beat the afternoon heat. There is always a fresh stack of fabric waiting to be cut or sewn on the main floor. We do not use any big or fancy words to describe what we do. It is just making clothes and different cloth parts. Sometimes the older machines need a bit of a manual adjustment to get them going in the morning. We end up drinking a lot of tea while we go through the daily order lists. It is a very practical setup without any frills. We do not even have a receptionist or a fancy lobby area. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. We have seen many people come and go, but the core group stays. It feels like a second family here.
