Skipper Hosiery Private Limited

Our place is located on the second floor over at 158 Jamuna Lal Bajaj Street. If you have ever been to this part of Kolkata, you know exactly how packed and busy the area gets on a daily basis. We do mostly hosiery work here. It is an older building, so the stairs can be quite a climb if the lift is acting up again, which happens more often than we would like. We have a small, dedicated team working here every day. Most of the time, the large wooden tables are piled high with cotton goods and different samples. We spend the whole day checking through batches and making sure things are packed into boxes correctly. It is never a silent office because there is always someone talking or something heavy being moved around. We have been in the hosiery trade for a long time now. You eventually get used to the loud rhythm of the market right outside the windows. Sometimes we just grab a quick snack from the food vendors downstairs when things get particularly hectic. We try to keep our operations simple and straightforward. There is no need for complicated business talk in a place like this. We just handle the orders as they come in. The lights flicker sometimes, but we do not mind. It is part of the charm of working in this part of town for us.
