Meghna H Fashion Studio

Meghna H Fashion Studio is tucked away at 172 Bhuban Mohan Roy Road, near the Chauta Bazar area on Balaji Road. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time with fabrics, threads, and sewing machines. The studio isn't huge, but it's full of color from all the different materials we have lying around. You can usually hear the hum of the machines and the sound of scissors cutting through cloth throughout the day. We get quite a bit of dust from the fabric, so we are always dusting things off. Being near Chauta Bazar means there is always a lot of movement outside, which keeps things interesting. We don't have a big fancy storefront with mannequins in the window. It’s more of a workspace where we get things done. People come in to get things fitted or to look at what we are currently making. Sometimes the tea stall nearby brings us some chai while we work on a difficult piece. We aren't some high-end luxury brand. We just like making clothes that people can actually wear and feel good in. Our benches are covered in scraps of silk and cotton, and there’s always a tape measure hanging around someone’s neck. It’s a bit messy and loud, but we enjoy the process of creating something from scratch right here in our little studio. We just keep sewing every day and watching the street.
