Serlwel

Serlwel is based at 33 Lenin Sarani. It’s an old street with a lot of history and a lot of traffic. Our building has been there for years, and you can tell by the stairs and the high ceilings. We do a bit of everything here, mostly related to supplies and general trading. The office is usually a bit of a mess with samples and catalogs spread out on the tables. We don’t have a cleaning crew that comes in every night, so we mostly tidy up ourselves. It’s a very informal place. You might hear the radio playing in the background or people shouting across the room to ask about an order. We deal with a lot of different vendors. Some of them have been working with us for decades. We don't use a lot of complicated software; a lot of things are still written down in ledgers or on sticky notes. It’s not the most efficient way, maybe, but it works for us and we haven't had any big problems yet. Lenin Sarani is always moving, so there is always something to see out the window. We get a lot of walk-ins who are just looking for something specific. We try to help them out if we can. If we don't have it, we usually know someone who does. It’s just a normal business in a busy part of the city.
