Sargam Sarees

We are over at No. 13 Narayan Prasad Babu Lane, which is a small and very busy street. Our shop, Sargam Sarees, has been here for a long time. It is not a fancy place with bright lights or modern decor; it is just a simple room with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. These shelves are always packed with different sarees in every color you can think of. We do not have a website or any kind of online shop. If people want to see what we have, they just have to come down to the lane and step inside. We have a couple of wooden stools for customers to sit on while we show them the different fabrics. The lane outside is always full of people and carts, so it can be a bit of a squeeze to get here. We spend our days unfolding and folding sarees, talking to our regulars, and occasionally getting new stock in. Most of the women who shop with us have been coming here for years, and we know exactly what they like. We stay open until the evening when the street finally starts to cool down a bit. It is a very traditional way of doing business, but it has always worked for us. We just enjoy being part of the life on Narayan Prasad Babu Lane.
