S.S. Garments

S.S. Garments is located at 9 Dent Mission Road over in Kolkata-26. It’s a part of the city that has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk down the street. Our shop isn't anything fancy, just a plain storefront where we do our daily business. We’ve been at this address for quite some time, and we’ve seen the seasons change from behind these same windows. The mornings usually start with a quick sweep of the floor and a cup of tea before we start opening up the bundles. Kolkata-26 is a busy area, so there is always something happening outside, whether it’s a festival or just the usual afternoon traffic jam. We don't really go in for big marketing or trying to sound like a big company. We are just a few people working with clothes and trying to make a living. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they are covered with shelves anyway, so it doesn't matter much. We know the postman and the tea seller by name, and that’s the kind of place this is. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us coming back every day. We don't try to be anything we aren't, we just focus on the garments and the people who come through the door looking for them. It’s a bit cramped inside sometimes, but that’s just part of the charm.
