Our shop is number 151 on the first floor of the building at 5 Sardar Shankar Road, over in Section 38A. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but it’s a good spot once you’re here and away from the dust of the road. We do most of our fashion work in the back room and keep the front for showing what we’ve finished recently. It’s not a huge place, but it’s enough for the three of us to work without bumping into each other too much. Noida can be a very busy place, so we like that our shop is a bit tucked away from the main ground floor chaos where all the foot traffic is. We’ve got a lot of racks filled with different garments we've made. Sometimes it’s hard to find exactly what you’re looking for because we keep moving things around based on what's new. We don't have a professional decorator or anything like that. We just put things where they fit on the shelves. We use a lot of local materials when we can get them from the markets nearby. The fans keep the air moving, but it still gets quite hot during the summer months. We usually close up for a bit in the afternoon when it's quietest to have some tea. We don't have a big corporate story to tell. We just like making clothes and being our own bosses. It’s a practical way to spend the day.
