Royal Susina

Royal Susina is tucked away at 2, Grant Street, inside the Chandni Chowk Market area. Being near the Kmc Tower means it is always loud and fast-paced outside. Our shop isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got rows of items packed in, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once. The floor tiles are worn down from years of footsteps. We spend our mornings unpacking deliveries that arrive on carts because the lanes are too narrow for big trucks. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't have a fancy website or a social media person. We just talk to whoever walks through the door. Some days the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit by the doorway to catch the light. It’s part of being in this old part of the city. We know the other shopkeepers on Grant Street well. We share news and sometimes help each other out with small things. It isn't a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We try to keep things honest and simple. There's no corporate ladder here, just us and the goods we sell every day. We close up when the market starts to quiet down, usually later than we planned. It is just the way things go here.
