We’ve been here at Little Earth for a while now, up on the first floor of No. 14 Regent Estate. It’s a busy place. Most mornings start with someone forgetting their keys or the delivery guy getting lost in the hallway. The stairs are a bit steep, so we all get our exercise just coming in. We spend most of our time at the desks, sorting through things and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a fancy office, but it works for us. The windows look out over the street and you can hear the traffic all day. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the shops downstairs are busy. We usually have tea together around eleven. Someone always brings snacks, which helps when the day gets long. The building is older, so it has its quirks, like that one light that flickers or the door that sticks if you don’t pull it just right. We’ve grown used to it though. It feels more like home than a business some days. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. There’s always plenty to do and not enough hours in the day to finish it all. We don't have a big team, just a few of us trying to keep things organized. If you come by, you’ll probably find us surrounded by stacks of paper or boxes. It’s just how it is here.
