Rajda Industries & Exports Ltd.

We are located at 1702 Chatterjee International Centre. It is a big building on Jawaharlal Nehru Road. Most days it is pretty busy here with people coming in and out of the different offices. Our space is high up, so we see a lot of the city from the windows when we have a second to breathe. Basically, we handle export stuff from here. It involves a lot of coordination with various people and checking on shipments. Sometimes the lift takes a while because the building is so tall and everyone is in a hurry. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. The office has desks piled with papers and samples of what we deal with. It is not some fancy showroom. It is where the actual work happens. My desk is usually a bit of a mess by Tuesday afternoon. We deal with various international clients, so the phones are always ringing at odd hours. Someone is usually drinking tea or coffee while trying to get a container sorted out. The address is 33-A, and most people know the building because it’s a bit of a landmark in the area. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the factory side of things matches what the customers need. It gets noisy with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few years of being here. It is just our regular daily routine in this part of town.
