Sm Mast Collection

We are located at T-388/A Panchpara Road. This part of Garden Reach, around Metiabruz and Bartala, is always moving. It’s a big area for clothes and we are right in the thick of it near Rajabagan. Our space is pretty basic. We have piles of garments stacked up everywhere, sometimes nearly reaching the ceiling. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything. We mostly do wholesale, so we see a lot of the same faces coming in every week to pick up bundles for their own shops. The street outside is narrow and can get blocked up with trucks and rickshaws pretty easily. Inside, the fans are always on but it still gets quite warm with all the fabric around. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us counting stock or packing bags. We started out small and stayed that way, just focusing on the collections we put together each season. There's always a bit of dust from the threads, and the floor is usually covered in plastic wrap and scraps. We work long hours, especially during the festival seasons when everyone wants their orders at the same time. It’s a noisy, busy place but we like being part of the market here. We just keep our heads down and try to get the bundles out on time every day. There is always something that needs to be moved or sorted before we go home.
