Raj Dresses

If you walk down Nilmoni Halder Lane and go to number 38/1, you will find Raj Dresses up on the 1st Floor. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs, but that is where we do all our work. Being on the first floor means we are slightly removed from the noise of the lane downstairs, though you can still hear the motorbikes and people shouting. We have been at Raj Dresses for quite a while, and the room is filled with the sounds of work. We don't have any big showrooms or bright lights. It is just a workspace with tables and chairs and whatever we are working on at the moment. The space at 38/1 Nilmoni Halder Lane is old, with high ceilings and walls that could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We spend our days cutting, sewing, and checking things over. It is a lot of manual work and your back can get a bit sore by the end of the day. We don't have a lot of visitors, mostly just people we know or deliveries coming in. We keep the windows open when the weather allows to get a bit of a breeze in from the street. At Raj Dresses, we are just a small group of people trying to make a living and keeping the business going from our spot on the 1st Floor. It is a quiet, steady kind of life.
