Rahila Designs Pvt. Ltd. is located at 36/80/1B, Topsia Road East. Topsia is a busy part of the city, and there’s always a lot of movement on the road. Our building isn't anything special to look at, but it's where we do all our thinking and creating. Being a private limited company makes it sound more official than it feels sometimes. Most days it’s just a few of us sitting around desks, sketching things out or looking at samples. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. It’s a working office through and through. The walls are covered in notes and old designs that we never ended up using. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s just how we work best. We don't follow any corporate handbooks or have weekly meetings that go on forever. If we have an idea, we just talk about it over lunch or while we're making tea. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Topsia Road. The traffic can be a headache, but you get used to the noise after a while. We aren't interested in being the most famous design firm. We just want to make things that look decent and work for the people who ask for them. It’s a quiet, steady sort of business, and we’re happy to keep it that way. We just keep our heads down and focus on the drawing board.
