Queenley Fashions Private Limited. We are based out of a flat in Niranjan Pally, specifically Flat No.-2B on the 2nd floor of Block-B in Sonali Park. It is a quiet residential area in Bansdroni, Kolkata. Dealing with fashion from a residential building means things are a bit cramped but cozy. We have turned a couple of rooms into our workspace. You will find boxes stacked up in the corners and sketches pinned to the walls. It’s not like a big showroom. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the quality of the garments that come in. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so moving big bundles of clothes can be a real chore sometimes. Our neighbors know us well since we are always here. The P.O. is Bansdroni, so the postman visits us quite often with samples and documents. Being in Kolkata-700070, we are tucked away from the main road noise mostly. We start our mornings with tea and a look at what needs to get done for the day. It’s a simple setup. We don’t use any big fancy slogans. We just work on the clothes and try to stay on top of the schedule. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back. It is just a small team of us trying to make things work from this flat in the middle of the neighborhood.
