Our place is at 13/1 Shib Thakur Lane. It’s a narrow little lane in Kolkata, but it’s where we do all our work. Purava Fashions Private Limited is the name on our door. The area is very traditional and has a lot of small businesses packed together. We don't have a lot of room, so we have to be smart about how we store our fashion items. It’s a very local atmosphere. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. We aren't some big corporation with a tall building. We are just a local fashion company tucked away in a side street. Some days it is quiet and other days it is a bit of a madhouse with deliveries. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just focus on making sure our fashions are right and our customers are taken care of. Shib Thakur Lane is a bit hard to navigate if you aren't used to it. But once you find 13/1, you’ll find us. We’ve been here for a while and we like being part of this community. We spend a lot of time looking at fabrics and checking our stock. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to keep the business running smoothly and stay busy. It’s an honest way to make a living and we appreciate being in this part of town. This lane has been our home for a long time.
